The time was just post-partition, 1952, and the legendary PAHWA brothers dreamt of providing the common with a quality yet affordable means of transport. Started in 1948 as a bicycle saddles and brake manufacturing unit, by 1952 they had started on a journey to fulfilling the dream of creating a brand that is today AVON BUKE. Today with its 15-acre production plant, the company has the capacity of manufacturing 10000 bicycles on a daily basis. Each bicycle manufactured by the brand is fully assembled and produced from raw material to a complete product in the company’s manufacturing facility itself, which is also AVON BUKE’s biggest USP. All the components of its bicycles like rims, hubs, chains, mudguards and even steel balls are produced in-house in the manufacturing plant's ancillary units, most of which are ISI marked for their superior quality. The company also has an ISO 9001:2008 certified management system in place. It has completely integrated production units in its plants with state-of-the-art assembly lines.
